This page explains how TechBullion makes money from its Partners directory and comparison pages, and how we keep that separate from what we write. Last updated 30 September 2026.
How we make money
Some links on our Partners pages are affiliate links. If you click one and go on to open an account, buy a product or take out a policy, the provider may pay TechBullion a commission. This costs you nothing extra; the price you pay is the same whether you use our link or go directly. Commission is paid through affiliate networks and, in some cases, directly by the provider.
Affiliate links are always marked. Every page that contains one carries a disclosure at the top, and each button that leads to a provider is labelled as a partner link. In the page code these links carry the rel="sponsored" attribute so that search engines treat them as paid.
What commission does not buy
- A place in our directory. Providers appear because our editors consider them relevant to readers in the markets we cover.
- A position in a comparison. Rankings and “best for” picks are decided by our editorial team using the methodology stated on each comparison page. Commission is not an input.
- Favourable wording. Strengths and points to watch are written by our editors from the provider’s published terms and, where relevant, the public register of the regulator.
- Removal of criticism. Providers may correct factual errors; they may not remove or soften an editorial judgement.
How pages are reviewed
No profile or comparison is published to search engines until a named editor has checked it against the provider’s current terms and recorded the review. The reviewer’s name and the date appear on the page. Reviews are repeated when a provider changes materially and at least every six months; pages whose review has lapsed are flagged internally for re-checking.
The people who manage our affiliate relationships cannot publish or approve a page. That decision sits with the editorial team alone.
Accuracy, fees and offers
We describe how a provider charges by its pricing model rather than quoting specific prices, because prices change often. Always confirm current fees, eligibility and terms with the provider before you commit. Where an affiliate programme ends, our links to that provider are withdrawn automatically and the page is taken out of search results until the position is clear.
Information, not advice
Nothing on TechBullion is personal financial advice. We do not know your circumstances, and we are not authorised to advise you. Investing and cryptoassets put your capital at risk; borrowing costs money and must be affordable; insurance cover depends on the policy wording. If you are unsure, speak to a regulated adviser in your country.
Your data
When you click a partner link we record the partner, the page you came from, your market and the time, together with a one-way hash that lets us count unique clicks without storing your IP address. Where a provider or network reports that you went on to sign up, we record that a conversion occurred so that we can measure which pages readers find useful. We do not sell reader data and we do not receive your personal details from providers.
